During the class, when look into 4 frameworks of leadership style, University of Iowa and University of Michigan used a liner line to explain on leadership style. This liner line will only have two-aspects in leadership, A or B. Either the style will flex to the leader or the followers. In details, University of Iowa illustrated leadership as autocratic or democratic, while University of Michigan is about Job Centered or Employee Centered.
Then, The Ohio State
University updated on Four-Leadership style in 2 dimensions. It explored on
high and low of consideration and initiating structure. From this style, the
effective style is a leader that with high consideration and high of initiating
structure.

Lastly is the Leadership Grip by Blake, Mouton and McCanse. This leadership style also involves dimensions of high and low. However, it focuses on the leader’s concerns wiother towards the people or the productions. The best leadership style based on this Leadership Grip are those leaders that have high concern of the people and also high concern of the production. They name a “team leader” that reflect this effective style of leadership.

As conclusion for me, what is the best leadership style is a leader that can bring positivity to the team members, and able to being good and flexible with them. Besides, a leader also able to get good production and outcome of the organization or company.
